The Journey

The Matching Process

01

Profile Submission

Complete a private intake form outlining your basic information, background, values, and marriage goals.

02

Committee Review

The appointed committee evaluates each submission to ensure completeness and eligibility.

03

Compatibility Assessment

The committee identifies potential matches based on shared values, personal preferences, and practical compatibility.

04

Initial Match Proposal (Female Review)

Once a match is identified, an anonymized version of the male’s profile is shared with the female candidate via her dashboard, followed by an email notification.

05

Mutual Interest (Male Review)

If the female candidate expresses interest, her anonymized profile is then shared with the male candidate for his review and consideration.

06

Mutual Approval & Introduction

Upon mutual consent, both parties are notified, and full contact details, including names, phone numbers, and emails are released to both dashboards.

07

Halal Introduction Period

Candidates enter a communication phase to discuss compatibility further. To ensure focus, both profiles are temporarily paused from the active matching pool during this time.

08

Next Steps: Union or Reactivation

If compatibility is confirmed, families proceed toward engagement and Nikah. MIA offers pre-marital counseling and officiating services. Once the Nikah is finalized, profiles are deleted. Should the match not proceed, candidates may choose to reactivate their profiles to be considered for future matches.
