About MIA Matrimonial

MIA Matrimonial is a Manitoba Islamic Association initiative created to support individuals and families seeking marriage in a structured, dignified, and Islamic manner. Profiles are handled confidentially and introductions are facilitated only with mutual consent.

Profile Submission

Complete a private intake form outlining your background, values, and marriage goals.

A small MIA-appointed committee reviews submissions for completeness, eligibility, and conduct standards.

Matches are explored based on deen, life stage, family expectations, and practical compatibility — not superficial browsing.

Consent-Based Introduction

No information is shared without your approval. If both parties agree, an introduction is facilitated.

Halal Getting-to-Know Process

Communication remains respectful, purposeful, and time-bound, with guidance as needed.

Family & Next Steps

If compatibility is found, families proceed toward engagement and nikah, including optional counselling and MIA nikah services.
